I grew up on a farm near Greenfield and now live in Grimes with my husband Joe and son Logan. I enjoy playing golf, playing cards and games, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering in my church and community. Massage, along with praying family and friends, has been instrumental in healing in my life. I believe God blesses us all with different talents, and that He works through me to bring the healing power of touch to others. I discovered massage during the height of my stress in the corporate world in 1999. Having experienced such profound healing personally from massage, I knew I wanted to help others the way I had been helped. I graduated from the College of Massage and the Healing Arts Center in 2005, and I have a B.S. in Business Administration from Upper Iowa University with a minor in finance . I am active in the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), and am the current Public Relations Chair for the Iowa chapter of AMTA. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I worked for an insurance company in benefits/compensation and was a human resources manager at a distribution center. My background in human resources helps me to empathize with others, and my caring nature shines through in my touch.
